a little bit about me
My name is Rhianna Rose, and I am twenty nine years old. I have worked in the CNN office in Austin, Texas for the last three years. Growing up in Massachusetts, government and politics have always been passions of mine, since it is the state where our country truly originated. I also naturally have strong liberal ties, and believe a strong central government can greatly benefit the lives of the citizens in this country. These beliefs have only grown stronger as I have gotten older and gained more knowledge and experience in the political world.
I graduated from Westlake High School in Austin, and then attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island for both my undergraduate and doctorate degrees. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in political science and a doctorate in journalism. During my time at school, I held an internship with NPR in Boston, and helped cover elections and conduct several interviews with local politicians there. I was recruited by CNN News after graduating from Brown, and covered elections in Washington D.C. for two years. After that introductory period, I was transferred back to the Austin, Texas CNN News branch to be the team manager for the political coverage team here. This job is truly my passion, and I enjoy providing the public with accurate information about their local political environment, as well as representations of politicians who have a direct impact on their daily lives.
